We call it Sub-Stack. Both skill trees are active at once, along with the second class's weapon and armor masteries. In the Olympiad you fight as your main class only.

How Sub-Stack works
Sub-Stack lets your main class borrow a second class of the same race. Its whole skill tree and its weapon and armor masteries are added to your own while your main class is active.
Combinations that would break the game, like a healer on a tank, are banned. In the Olympiad the second class is stripped and you fight as your main class only.
