Lineage II High Five Client
The full Lineage II High Five game client. Download it, extract it anywhere you like (for example C:\L2Dragon), then apply the L2Dragon system patch on top.

Our server's system folder patch. Extract it over the client's system folder and overwrite when asked, so the client connects to L2 Dragon.

Put L2DragonUpdater.exe in your client folder and start the game with it. It keeps our client files up to date, updates itself, and has a Repair button for damaged files. Every update is signed by us and checked before it is installed.

Required software
Install these once before launching the game.
Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable (x86)
Runtime libraries the client needs. Install the 32-bit (x86) version even on 64-bit Windows.
DirectX End-User Runtime (June 2010)
Legacy DirectX components used by the Lineage II client. Run the file to extract it, then run DXSETUP.exe.

How to install

Install the game client
Download the High Five client and extract it to a folder of your choice.
- 2.
Extract the system patch
Extract the L2Dragon System Patch over the client's system folder (<client>/system) and choose to overwrite existing files.
- 3.
Add the launcher
Put L2DragonUpdater.exe in the main client folder, next to the system folder, and run it. It checks your files and downloads anything that is missing or out of date.

Install the required software
Install the Visual C++ Redistributable (x86) and the DirectX End-User Runtime if you have not already.
- 5.
Run the game
Start the game with the launcher's Play button. Windows asks for administrator permission each time, because the game client requires it.

Create an account and log in
Create your L2 Dragon account on this site, then log in with it from the game's login screen. Create an account
If something goes wrong
- Windows SmartScreen may say "Windows protected your PC" the first time you run the launcher, because it is new and not code-signed with a paid certificate. Click More info, then Run anyway.
- If the game crashes, shows a black screen or a file seems damaged, close the game and click Repair in the launcher. It checks every file again and resets your graphics settings, keeping your old settings as a backup.
- If the game does not start, right-click system/l2.exe and choose Run as administrator.
- Some antivirus programs flag l2.exe or the patched system folder as a false positive. Only download the client and patch from the links on this page, so you know the files are the ones we published.
